Has anyone visitng the peanut butter warehouse lately? I heard it was turned into an arts and crafts mall recently with real arts and crafts vendor booths and such not junk vendors. It used to be a junk/flea market place but I heard it went a little more upscale and artsy recently.

I was in Galveston 2001.I was studying management in Croatia, and on my college I apply to come in Texas and work as internship. There was a couple of us and we lived and worked there for a year.
It was unique experience, because I never worked so hard in my life as when I was there (I had 2 jobs), and for the first time in my life I experienced the beauty of independent life.Sometimes I miss Galveston, not the climate and mosquitos:-)), but the food, good steaks, driving my car after work at 11 pm on Seawall,The Spot, Strand, my friends, my friends, my good friends!!!
I miss the people that I have met there, and Galveston will always have special place in my heart!

I went to Galveston for the first time last summer. It was AWESOME!! After learning just some of the history, I am convinced that in a past life I lived there, or had some kind of tie to the place. I plan to make at least 2 trips Galveston in the summer & I so can't wait.

Hi everyone. Can anyone recommend a good restaurant which has veggie options? I don't eat meat, poultry, fish or seafood, but do eat dairy, eggs etc. I'm visiting Galveston this summer and I want to enjoy some good meals out! Thanks a lot.
