If you are visiting in November you have a lot of time to plan. Cadillac Bar across from the beach has great Mexican food. There is a Joe's Crab
Shack by the cruise ships on Harborside if you are looking for a seafood chain. Willie G's on Harborside is excellent.

Rudy, look up the Galveston Historical Group (I'm not sure what the website is) and they will give you a list of historical homes you can use for your wedding. They will also mail you a packet of information.

High Spirits Tours are great! We took the Red Light Ladies tour and the 1900 Hurricane tour - great history and fantastic spirit photos!

I'm going to be there as part of a rally/demonstration against infant circumcision with www.nocirc. org in the spring. I need to know about nice hotels with on site restaurants and public transportation close by. Any suggestions?

Whatever you do watch your purse! I lost my brand new ipod a got for my birthday...a shopping card to Old Navy...and a bunch of sentimental things. I would suggest not even bringing it. Take your keys and lock your purse in the car...this is one of the worst things that ever happened to me. My purse is tan with plaid accents. Having dinner in The Strand. Having a carriage pick us up after dinner approx 7:30pm. Any suggestions as to a romantic location to propose? Has to be with in the area that the carriages go? The harbor? Ashton Gazebo? Need ur help
